Gosia Lanigan is a Gestalt psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer.

She works in private practice in central Wokingham, offering therapy from a quiet, private garden office that provides a calm and contained environment well suited to the reflective nature of psychotherapy.

Gosia’s journey into Gestalt psychotherapy began in the mid-2000s, shaped by personal and cultural transitions, a longstanding interest in movement, and a questioning, independent spirit. Gestalt psychotherapy, both as a philosophy and a clinical approach, has profoundly influenced her personal and professional life and continues to inform her ongoing development as a practitioner.

She finds deep meaning and fulfilment in her work as a Gestalt therapist. Alongside her clinical practice, Gosia is supported by her engagement with movement, gardening, and creative arts, which help sustain her presence and capacity in her work with clients, supervisees, and trainees.

Experience

Gosia has worked as a psychotherapist since 2007. She began her career in voluntary counselling roles before moving into private practice, where she works with individuals and couples.

In 2018, she took up her first psychotherapy teaching role as an assistant tutor. Since 2023, she has been a primary tutor on the MSc Gestalt Psychotherapy course, and in 2024 she expanded her practice to include clinical supervision.
